Natural Pathways to Healing

In Fall of 2010 my back was injured while I was building a disc golf course.   Regular medicine didn't cut it; I dealt with pain and limited range of motion every day.  I searched for a natural way to heal and discovered massage therapy. Within two sessions I experienced substantial results.  My interest was piqued, and after some time and research I pursued massage as a career.  I graduated from Roane State with an Associate in Allied Health Science and acquired Tennessee's state certification in massage therapy.  I have attended many classes and met many awesome healers along the way.  I have outlined the notable experiences below.

Energy found is a one man operation.  It is my business of massage therapy and I find it very rewarding.  I am interested in finding clients who want to reach new potential in movement and health.  This includes athletes of all sorts.  I want to help people physically move through their life easier.  I have found that physicality improves all dimensions of life.  When we consider how much brain tissue is committed to movement, balance, and expression it becomes clear that relieving body feedback of tension unlocks many resources for other activity.  I mean to say; the vital energy holding us in physical patterns is far better used in other ways, like mental and emotional health, as well as actually moving us through the world.  Unlocking patterns of physical holding with massage has been very helpful for me and now I would like to deliver what I have learned to the public.

I have recently moved into an office building in West Knoxville.  One of the services provided by Energy Found is Myofascial bodywork which is the most popular technique.  This technique treats the body globally, taking into account the fascial connections that sometimes get missed.  For example, sometimes elbow pain can be rooted in the side body.  Sometimes foot pain is stemming from the hips and low back.  I also offer simple full body relaxing massage.  People under stress and tight time constraints gravitate to this type of massage because it is a chance to unwind for an hour without responsibility.  Energy Found is also available for chair massage.  I have been to UT Knoxville several times to help students and staff unwind during the school year.  Fifteen minutes receiving a chair massage has been very beneficial during finals week for the students.
